URGENT NEED FOR MEDICAL MASKS IN SAN DIEGO
Nursing Homes in San Diego County are in desperate need of protective masks due to the spread of COVID-19 that caused a worldwide shortage of N95 and surgical masks . We have organized efforts to sew hundreds of reusable cotton fabric masks for nurses, CNAs and other healthcare workers in local nursing homes. We have donated over 750 face masks to healthcare workers at Villa Rancho Bernardo, Lifecare Vista, La Fuente Post Acute, Palomar Medical Center and staff at Poway Unified School District.
